exceptional resources, and the support of a strong, faith-filled community. For more than 105 years, St. Francis Xavier Catholic School has served the Baton Rouge area as a trusted source of Christian formation and academic excellence for both Catholic and non-Catholic families.

The application process is now open for the upcoming 2026-27 school year.

​​All new student applications must include the following required documentation:

1. Completed Registration Agreement
2. Completed Financial Agreement
3. Payment of Registration and Student Fees
4. Copy of the student’s Birth Certificate
5. Baptismal Certificate (required if the child is Catholic)
6. First Communion Certificate (required if the child is Catholic)
7. Current Immunization Record
8. Copy of the student’s Social Security Card
9. Most recent Report Card
10. Achievement Test Scores
11. Discipline Report
12. FACTS enrollment confirmation
13. Drop Slip, if transferring from another school
14. New Student/Parent Interview Session

All completed paperwork must be returned to the school office for processing.
Applications will not be reviewed until all required documents and fees have been received.

Registration Fee (Non-Refundable)

Registration Fee - $150 per student (more than one child, $125 each), NON- REFUNDABLE

Due at the time of registration

 

Students in grades K-7th – $5,575.00

Students in grade 8th - $5575.00 + 8th Grade Fee ($250.00) = $5,825.00

The tuition fee includes a $75.00 non-refundable Technology Fee

 

We highly encourage all payments to be collected through FACTS.

​

Families not currently enrolled in FACTS are required to complete online enrollment prior to submitting the registration packet. A copy of the FACTS enrollment confirmation sheet must be included with all registration paperwork. 

 

Existing FACTS customer agreement terms will remain in effect as scheduled. Families who need to make changes to an existing agreement or have questions are encouraged to contact
the school office for assistance.

FACTS Enrollment Requirement for LA GATOR / Non-GATOR Students


All current LA GATOR and Non-GATOR students (formerly the Louisiana State Voucher System) are required to enroll in the FACTS Tuition Management Program no later than June 30, 2026.

TUITION ASSISTANCE/SCHOLARSHIP FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES:

 

Families are encouraged to explore the following tuition assistance programs available
to students in Grades K–8:

 

  • ï‚· ACE Scholarships Program-Louisiana (Coming Soon). The ACE Scholarships Program provides families with additional opportunities to attend the non-public school of their choice through the Louisiana Tuition Donation Credit Program.

  • ï‚· Arete Scholars Program (Opens Monday, Feb. 2, 2026 – Closes April 15, 2026). The

  • ï‚· LA GATOR Scholarship (Opening Soon). The GATOR Program provides scholarship funding to eligible students seeking to attend participating non-public schools.

ï‚· Aspiring Scholars Program (Opens Monday, Feb. 2, 2026 – Closes April 15, 2026)
is designed to provide students in Grades K - 12 with additional opportunities to attend the non-public school of their choice. It is a Louisiana Tuition Donation Credit Program.


ï‚· Eligibility for applicants includes students who are attending a public school during the 25-26 school year or who have attended school on a Louisiana Scholarship Program award during the 25-26 school year. ï‚· There is a nominal processing fee for completing an application.

ï‚· Black and Indian Mission (Opens Monday, Feb. 2, 2027 – Closes April 15, 2027).
The Black and Indian Mission Fund (B&I) is designed to provide African American Catholics or Native American Catholics in grades K-12 in Catholic schools with additional opportunities to further their Catholic education. Donations received by the national organization provide partial tuition assistance to Black or American Indian students in Grades K – 12 who attend Catholic schools based on financial need.
