OUR PHILOSOPHY

 

Catholic education is an expression of the mission entrusted by Jesus to the church He founded. This mission is an integrated ministry embracing three interlocking dimensions, the message revealed by God which the church proclaims, fellowship in the life of the Holy Spirit; and service to the Chrsitian Community.

Parents are primary and principle educators. The first school is the family in which children learn to live in a human society and in the church. 

The administration, faculty, and staff of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic School provide a Christian environment for fostering and strengthening our Catholic faith. Our school proclaims the message of the Gospel to the students. We believe that all children can learn, and apply problem solving, critical thinking, and higher-level concepts and skills in real life situations. Our students are guided to become leaders and give service and assistance to others. We believe that learning for all includes students, parents, teachers, and community. Parents should be actively involved in all educational activities of the school. Quality teaching is the key to every child’s success. Therefore, our school is committed to providing for the spiritual, academic, social, physical, and emotional growth and development of the whole child to reach his or her potential.
